Playstation 3 Fighting Game (Main Theme)

Although quite electronic, the style is a bit of a blast from the past as we hear a little bit of 90's disco. The client asked me to make it loop infinitely as it was to be used for the main menu of the game.

A Walk To The Bank

This catchy little piece is one of my personal favourites, because it's so friendly and fun.

When my client asked if I could write some music for them, they mentioned it would not be broadcast publicly. They explained it was for internal use by one of the country's largest banks - their corporate online magazine - viewed only by the staff members.

One of my only requirements was that it was to be 'quite light'.

So, true to my style, I kept things literal and tried to create music that sounded like money. But it just wasn't quite doing the trick and so I started all over again from a different approach: music that sounded like people in the bank. And that's the finished result you hear here today.

Official Aero Blackout Trailer

Once again it is my duty to inform you for the (insert exagerrated nuber here)th time that 'back in the day' I was a graphic designer. I worked four years for a company and then tried my hand at freelancing, which would incorporate my music AND graphic design.

It worked well for a season and because of it, I can now display some of these creations here as acheivements.

In this particular case, I used my very own services to create a "trailer" for my business at the time, Aero Blackout. It showed that I could do a wide range of musical styles as well as graphic design styles - most notably 3D animation - which is still of great interest to me.

I never bought Toy Story 3 for my kids - I bought it for myself. Mwahahahaha!

Vizucate Advert

As I've mentioned before, I used to work as a graphic designer. The company I worked for came out with the idea of selling little characters, that we the design team made, to add to your presentations or newslettes or training materials or whatever you can think of.

It was a cool project to work on and what made it even cooler was that I got asked to put music to the online advert that was to be broadcast.

The reason it begins with a cranky piano at the start is merely the intro to the advert explaining how dull and archaic presentations can be...until you add life to it, which is Vizucate!

Crashing Down

Also known as 'Creative Anger' - this comes out of a similar place as Peace.

This particular tune was literally written out of anger. I cannot remember the exact situation that happened (maybe I don't want to remember) but I do remember that I felt heavily insulted in my music and it wasn't pretty.

Sometimes you have to vent - and what a better way to vent than through the language of music?
